What the per km rate covers

Included in the per km rate: the vehicle, fuel and the driver. Every vehicle in the fleet is air conditioned, with push back seats, charging points and luggage space at the rear.

Billed on top, at actuals: toll, parking, and inter state permit where the route crosses a border, for example Chennai to Tirupati or Chennai to Bangalore. Driver bata is a flat daily amount, not a percentage.

How the kilometres are counted: garage to garage, which is standard for outstation hire in Chennai. On a multi day trip the 300 km minimum applies per day, so a 3 day trip is billed on at least 900 km even if you drive less.

Sriperumbudur and the industrial belt

Sriperumbudur sits about 30 km from Chennai airport, roughly an hour in normal traffic, and it is where a lot of our corporate work goes. Plant visits, delegate transfers and shift batches for the factories around the NH48 corridor. Drivers know the gate procedures and the waiting areas, which matters when a visit runs late.

Tirupati darshan

Same day Tirupati is the single most requested trip we run. A 12 seater leaves Chennai in the early hours, reaches Tirumala for darshan and is back in Chennai the same night. Carry ID for every passenger, and tell us in advance if you want the vehicle to wait at Alipiri rather than go up the ghat road.

Mahabalipuram and the ECR

Shore Temple, the Five Rathas and the Crocodile Park make an easy day out at about 60 km down the ECR. Popular with visiting delegates after a work week in Chennai, and with school and college groups.

Chennai city sightseeing

A 10 hour local package covers most of what visitors want to see: Kapaleeswarar Temple in Mylapore, Marina Beach, Fort St George, the Government Museum and Vandalur Zoo. Note that the Government Museum is closed on Friday and the Snake Park and Children's Park are closed on Tuesday, so we plan the route around your travel day.

Yercaud and the short hill runs

Yercaud is about 365 km from Chennai, which makes it a comfortable overnight rather than a day trip. Hill charges apply on the ghat section, as they do on Kodaikanal, Ooty and Valparai.

Booking terms

• Outstation is billed on a minimum of 300 km a day. Kilometres beyond that are charged at the per km rate for that vehicle.
• Driver bata covers 12 hours. Past 12 hours, the next day's bata applies.
• Kilometres are counted garage to garage, including on one way outstation trips.
• Toll, parking and inter state permit charges are paid by the customer at actuals.
• Hill charges apply on ghat routes such as Kodaikanal, Ooty, Yercaud and Valparai.
• Luggage is carried at the owner's risk. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in the vehicle.
